We’re the Armfields and, in short, this blog is about God’s ways, direction, blessing, lessons, challenges, and story in our lives.

A Little About Us

Thanks for stopping by! We’re Zack and Pao and we would love to share our life with you and what our good Father does in it.

We’re a few things. A multicultural married couple; Paola – Colombian and Zack – American. We’re coffee enthusiasts – we could seriously talk forever about coffee. We love brewing it, learning about it, sharing it with people, and, of course, drinking it! We love the outdoors and exploring the World, no matter if that is the beautiful mountains of North Carolina or the amazing beaches and cities of Colombia. But above all, there is one thing that truly identifies us. It’s our core, our goal in this life and the next, our greatest passion: Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

We both are passionate followers of Jesus, Paola having believed in Him from the age of sixteen and Zack becoming serious in his faith in his teen years as well. He is the center of our marriage and life and we strive to honor him in every decision we make. We firmly believe Him when He said “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12) We love talking about our faith to anyone and have no problem chatting about the Gospel with people of any belief and walk in life. We want to make Christ known and tell others about His glory.

In 2017 we went to Italy (March to May) to fulfill Paola’s internship for Intercultural Studies and Teaching English as a Second Language working with a beautiful group of people at La Fonte, a church currently located in Jelsi, Molise, Italy. For now, we are living in the United States and are seeking the Lord’s will on what He would have us do to serve Him long-term after completing all of our immigration requirements.

Thanks for checking us out and we hope you are encouraged by seeing the good hand of a perfect God in the lives of two who still have lots to learn and are being transformed each day to be less of themselves, and more like Christ.
